About
Bluehost is one of the most widely used shared hosts on the web and has been officially recommended by WordPress.org for years. Plans bundle a free domain for the first year, one-click WordPress installation, and a beginner-friendly dashboard that walks new site owners through setup. It's the default recommendation on countless "how to start a blog" guides — mostly because it's easy, not because it's the fastest or cheapest long-term. Pros: WordPress-recommended, free first-year domain, genuinely beginner-friendly setup, free SSL on all plans. Cons: intro pricing jumps sharply at renewal, checkout is heavy on upsells, support quality varies by channel. Pricing shown is approximate intro pricing and changes often — check the host's site for the current price.
